These units meet the <br />City's General Plan housing policies related to: attaining a variety of housing types; <br />providing housing stock to lower-income households; including lower-income housing <br />units within market-rate housing projects; providing alternative, non-traditional means <br />suited to the community to fill lower and moderate income housing needs; and meeting <br />the City's share of regional housing needs. <br /> <br /> Thc further purpose of this chapter is to provide flexibility to meet the above stated <br />objectives, while taking into account the unusual characteristics and special <br />considerations surrounding second units. <br /> <br />Exhibit A.2/RZ-98-03 <br /> Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
