PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-40 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AND REZONING, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PGPA-01 AND PRZ-02 <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has applied for a General Plan amendment to change the <br />General Plan land use designation of a 13.5 acre parcel (APN 941-1302-002-24) <br />from Public and Institutional to Parks and Recreation, and rezoning of two parcels <br />totaling 24.2 acres (APNs: 941-1302-005-02 and 941-1302-002-24) from the <br />Agricultural zoning district to the Public and Institutional zoning district located at <br />6701 Payne Road; and <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearin~g of June 28, 2000, the Planning Commission, after <br />considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City <br />staff concerning this application, approved the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />this application; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission detemained that the General Plan amendment is <br />consistent with the General Plan, and that the rezoning is consistent with the goals <br />and objectives of the General Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />
