Resolution No. PC-2000-34 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />The operators of the center shall instruct all patients using the birthing center to <br />park in the on-site parking spaces or on the portion of Railroad Avenue closest to <br />the birthing center. In the event that all of these spaces are full, the patients and <br />any visitors shall be directed to park in one of the downtown City parking lots and <br />walk to the center, or a member of the center's staff shall be responsible for <br />moving the appropriate number of staff and visitor cars to a City parking lot. <br /> <br />A handicap ramp shall be installed in accordance with the standards of the <br />American Disabilities Act. The design of this ramp shall be completed so as to <br />minimize its appearance from the street and in a manner which is sensitive to the <br />architectm'al design of the structure. The proposed design of this ramp shall be <br />submitted for the review and approval by the Planning Director prior to the <br />commencement of operation of the center. <br /> <br />The applicant shall work with the Building Official to allow as much latitude as <br />possible in implementing the required access standards in light of the historical <br />nature of the building. <br /> <br />The applicant shall obtain all building and other applicable City permits for the <br />use and structure prior to occupancy. <br /> <br />The approval of the use permit is contingent upon the approval of the rezoning <br />(Case PRZ-3). <br /> <br />{end} <br /> <br /> <br />
