Resolution No. PC-2000-29
Page 2

Due to the size limitation of the second unit, the traffic generated would
not be any greater than that of a single-family residence. At least one
uncovered parking space will be reserved for the occupant(s) of the second
unit. Given the small size of the second unit and the limit on the number
of residents, there will be little or no impact on parking or utilities.
Furthermore, the design of the second unit has been integrated to match
that of the main dwelling.

The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the
applicable provisions of the zoning ordinance.

As proposed and conditioned, the use complies with all applicable
regulations of the Zoning Ordinance including regulations pertaining to
height, floor areas, setbacks, etc.

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed second unit is in
compliance with State law and is compatible with neighboring residences.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:

Approves Case PCUP-09, the application of Regis Lachance for a
conditional use permit to allow approximately 400-square feet of an
approved single-family residence addition to be converted into a second
unit located at 360 West Angela Street, subject to the conditions shown in
Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference.

Section 2.

This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and
adoption unless appealed prior to that time.

2
