F. Building Materials. Main structure exterior building wall surfaces shall be <br />either natural wood, stone, and/or brick materials or synthetic materials which look like <br />natural wood, stone, and/or brick. Exterior building wall surfaces of accessor~ <br />structttres greater than 200 square feet in sige shall be either natural wood, stone, <br />ttnd/or brick materials which match the materials on the main structure or shah be <br /> <br />$Fnthetic materials which look like natural wood, stone, and/or brick and match the <br />materials on the main structure. In high fire hazard areas, as determined by the Fire <br />Marshall, all exterior building material surfaces, including roof materials, shall be fire <br />retardant. <br /> G. Structure Design. Ail main structure building elevations visible from Foothill <br />Road or areas east of Foothill Road shall receive full architectural treatment with <br />attention given to minimizing the appearance of massiveness in wail and roof design. <br />Buildlttg elevations visible from Foothill Road or areas east of Foothill Road of <br />accessor~ structures greater than 200 square feet in si~e shall receive full architectural <br />treatment with attention given to minimiging the appearance of massiveness in wail and <br />roof des~n. The architectural st~le chosen for a main structure shah be compatible <br />with it~ particular setting and shall blend in with the natural environment. On lots <br />adjacent to Foothill Road or any frontage road along Foothill Road, the house building <br />elevatlon facing Foothill Road shall be designed to appear as the front of the home. <br />Roof lMtches of main and accessor~ structures shah be 6:12 or less. Detached garages <br />and ~4ra~es located in a manner such that the at~earance of t~arage doors from <br />streets, Foothill Road, and areas east of Foothill Road is minimiged shall be <br />encouratted. <br /> H. Open Space Between Lots. Residential lots adjacent to Foothill Road or any <br />frontage road along Foothill Road shah be clustered and shah be in clusters of no <br />more than 3 lots. Between these clusters, there shall be a natural open space view <br /> <br />corridor, a minimum of lOO feet in width, as measured from propero/ lines, which <br />extends from the westerly edge of Foothill Road to the peak of the Pleasanton Ridge. <br />All other lots shall be clustered and no more than 5 lots shall exist in a cluster. <br /> <br /> I. Grading. On lots highly visible from Foothill Road or areas east o~f Foothili <br />Road, main and accessory structure building pad elevations shah be at the lowest <br />natural grade possible, or lower than the natural grade if deemed appropriate to reduce <br />the visibilit~ of the structure, and all Ford areas shall be contour graded to the <br />maximum extent feasible. AH other lots shall be contour graded and split pad homes <br />shall be encouraged where appropriate. <br /> J. ~. Prohibition on Foreridge Development.
