19. 20. All parlrin_, spaces shall be striped. Wheel stops shall be provided unless the 'spaces are fronted by concrete curbs, in which ca,se sufficient areas shall be provided beyond the ends of all parking spaces to accommodate the overhang of automobiles. All full-sized parldng spaces shrill be a minimum of 19' x 9' in size and compact parking spaces ~hn]l be a minimum of 8'x 16' in size. Reductions in parking space length up'to a maximum oft shnll be allowed so long as adequate vehicle overhang is provided in front of each reduced-size parking space, as determined by the Zoning Administrator. Each compact car space shall be marked clearly with bold lettering no less than 8" in height 'Compact Car Only'. The dimensions of the parking stalls shall be clearly shown on the plans submitted for Building Depashiient plan check. 21. Six-inch vertical concrete curbs shall be installed between all paved and landscaped General Planning Conditions 22. The developer shall provide a public art piece on this project site. The art piece shall be · subject to review and approval by the City's Civic Arts Commission. 23. The project developer shall use their best efforts to implement the measures identified in the U. S. Green Building Council's (GBC), 'Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)" 2.0 rating system in the design, construction, and operation of the proposed building, including all future tenant improvements. Before issuance of a building permit, the LEED measures detailed in Exhibit ``A" dated February 1, 2001 and approved by the Planning Commission shall be shown on the building permit plan set. 24. The project developer shall extend electrical service to the parking spaces designated on Exhibit "A" for electrically powered commute vehicles. Upon demand by the Planning Director, the project developer shall have thirty (30) days to install the actual charging equipment for some or all Of the spaces, and shall pwvide evidence to the Planning Director that the installation is complete. The project developer shall install with the office building expansion signs designating the subject parking spaces which shall state "Electrical Vehicle Chargers Shall Be Provided Upon Request." When charging facilities are installed, the signage shall be changed to state, ``Parking for Electrical Vehicles Only, Contact Building Owner for More Information". These changes shall be shown on the building permit set submitted for review and approval by the Planning Director before issuance of a building permit. 25. Prior to installation of any signs, a comprehensive sign program shall be submitted to the plnnnir~g Director for design review and approval. Said sign program shall include PUDD 81-$0-84D Condition~ of Approval Page $
