EAS&NTON. <br /> <br />City Council <br />Staff Report <br /> <br />June 19, 2001 <br />City Manager <br /> <br />~CT <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF THlg~ CITY OF PLEASANTON FIVE YEAR <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEARS 2001- <br />02 THROUGH 200ro-06 <br /> <br />STkFF I~ECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the City Council: <br /> <br />Adopt the proposed Capital Improvement Program for fiscal years <br />2001-02 through 2005-06 as presented to the Council. <br /> <br />Appropriate the revenues and approve projec~ expenditures for the <br />projects recommended for funding in fiscal years 2001-02 and 2002- <br />03. <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br /> <br />Every two years the City Council adopts a Five Year Capital Improvement <br />Program to assure that infrastructure and capital improvement needs are <br />adequately addressed and planned. The proposed Cfipital Improvement <br />Progrmn establishes a course of action to meet improvement needs over the <br />next five years. The first two years of the program are recommended for <br />funding.
