Happy Valley Open Space/Golf Course is funded for $3,000,000 in FY 2001-2002. With the <br />inclusion of existing reserves, a total of $6,783,852 is available for this project. All General <br />Funds for the project will be provided as a loan. <br /> <br />The CIP anticipates the relocation of Fire Station #1 from its current location to a yet to be <br />determined location on the Bemal property. In anticipation of this project, a total of <br />$3,000,000 is made available from FY 2001-2002 through FY 2003-2004. <br /> <br />$630,000 is recommended to establish a reserve to address projects identified as part of the <br />Downtown Specific Plan. Of this amount, $200,000 is recommended for funding in FY 2002- <br />2003. <br /> <br />WATER <br /> <br />A total of $2,825,000 is allocated fur the mm~ replacement projects for polybutylene <br />service laterals, irrigation lines, water meters, mains and miscellaneous replacement projects. <br />Of this amount $1,250,000 is recommended for funding in FY 2001-2002 through 2002- <br />2003. <br /> <br />A total of $2,860,000 is allocated in FY 2001-2002 through 2002-2003 to address water <br />improvements anticipated in the Vineyard Specific Plan. These projects are funded primarily <br />from a transfer from water replacement/improvement funds to the water expansion fund. It is <br />anticipated that the City will be reimbursed for these projects as development occurs in the <br />Vineyard Corridor. <br /> <br />SEWER <br /> <br />A total of $1,375,000 is allocated over the five years of the CIP for annual sanitary sewer <br />main replacement and improvement projects. Of this total, $475,000 is recommended for <br />fimding is FY 2001-2002 through 2002-2003. <br /> <br />$150,000 is recommended for 'funding in FY 2001-2002 to update the City's Sanitary Sewer <br />Master Plan. <br /> <br />$75,000 is recommended for funding in FY2001-2002 to purchase a standby power generator <br />to use in event of an emergency or power outage. <br /> <br />V. UNFUNDED PROJECTS <br /> <br />Included in this CIP is a listing of unfunded projects. As presented in this CIP, unfunded projects are <br />those projects which do not have adequate funding, which are of lesser priority than funded projects or <br />projects that have master plans and other studies underway to determine the full scope of the project. As <br />a result, designating a project as unfunded does not necessarily indicate the importance of the project, <br />but rather indicates available funding sources or the current status of the project. <br /> <br />xxii <br /> <br /> <br />
