CiTY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> R£BrlI-UTII3N NO. 67-184 <br /> <br />COMMENDING ."CITIZENS COMMITTEE FOR <br />THE MUNICIPAL IMI~OVEMENT PROGRAM" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the General Obligation Bond election for parks and <br />firehouses will be held at Pleasanton, California, on November 28, <br />1967; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this important General Obligation Bond Issue could <br />not have been placed before the voters without the diligent work, <br />research, planning and guidance in policy matters by the "Citizens <br />Committee for the Municipal Improvement Program"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such a committee and such an improvement program <br />is essential to the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby commend and applaud the <br />"Citizens Committee for the Municipal Improvement Program" for <br />its work in connection with the bond issue for parks and fire- <br />houses, and for its guidance on the proposed civic center. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council does express the thanks of the entire <br />community to the chairman, officers, and members of the "Citizens <br />Committee for the Municipal Improvement Program". <br /> <br />DATED: November 20, 1967. <br /> <br />WARREN R.
