CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />R~'BOLUTION NO~ 67-1 <br /> <br />COMMENDING "CITIZENS COMMITTEE FOR <br />THE MUNICf'PAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the General ObligatiOn Bond Election for parks and <br />firehouses will be held at Pleasanton, C~lifornia, on November 28. <br />1967; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this important General Obligation Bond Issue could <br />not have been placed before the voters without the diligent work, <br />research, planning and guidande in policy matters by the "Citizen. <br />Committee for the Municipal Improvement Program"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such a committee and such an improvement program is <br />essential to the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby commend and applaud the <br />"Citizens Committee for the Municipal Improvement Program" for <br />its work in connection with the bond issue for parks and fire- <br />houses, and for its guidance on the proposed civic center. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council does express the thanks of the entire <br />community to the chairman, officers, and members of the "Citizens <br />Committee for the Municipal Improvement Program". <br /> <br /> 3. Copies of this Resolution shall be sent to persons <br />named, to-wit: <br /> <br />JOHN B.
