CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESGLUTION NO. ~%-i38 <br /> <br /> APPROV[D AS TO <br /> <br />WILLtA, 'A;,: [iP STi City Attorn <br /> <br /> GRANTING ~PEAL OF GREYHOUND BUS COMPANY, APPROVING <br /> ROUTES, AND AUTHORIZING A BUS LOADING ZONE <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton did, <br /> on July 24, 1968, adopt Resolution No. 796, establishing <br /> a street circulation route within the City limits of <br /> Pleasanton for the Greyhound Bus Company. <br />WHEREAS: The Greyhound Bus Company appealed the decision of the <br /> Planning Commission to the City Council for a street <br /> circulation route within the City of Pleasanton. <br />WHEREAS: A Public Hearing was held on August 12, 1968, and con- <br /> <br /> tinued on August 19, 1968. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Greyhound Bus Company has proposed revised routing <br /> for bus service through the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Greyhound Bus Company has requested a bus loading <br /> zone on the southwest corner of Main Street and Rose <br /> Avenue, and a bus loading zone on the northwest corner <br /> of Main Street and Rose Avenue. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br /> 1. The City CoUncil does hereby grant the appeal of the <br /> Greyhound Bus Company and approve the routing through <br /> the City of Pleasanton for both incoming and outgoing <br /> bus traffic as follows: <br /> <br /> a. San Jose to Livermore <br /> Route 680 to Bernal Avenue, thence Pleasanton Ave- <br /> nue to Rose Avenue, thence to Neal Street, First <br /> Street and Livermore. <br /> <br /> b. Livermore to San Jose <br /> Th~s rom~ sh&11 be the precise reverse of that <br /> indicated above for San Jose-Livermore routing. <br /> <br /> c. Hayward to Livermore (Interim) <br /> This route will be utilized on an interim basis <br /> until completion of the Hopyard Road-Route 580 <br /> <br /> <br />
