RESOLUTION NO. 70-180 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND O. C. JONES <br />AND SONS, A PARTNERSHIP, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION <br />WORK TO BE DONE IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1970-1, <br />CITY OF PLEASAh=rON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFO.RNIA <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, that the contract dated <br />July 27, 1970, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON and O. C. <br />JONES AND SONS, a partnership, for the work and improvements to <br />be done in Assessment District No. 1970--1, City of Pleasanton, <br />Alameda County, California, is hereby approved; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of <br />Pleasanton be authorized to sign, and the City Clerk thereof be <br />authorized to attest, the said agreement;' and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Labor and Material <br />Bond-and the FaithfUl Performance Bond to secure the preformance <br />of said contract and to secure payment of labor and materials <br />claims be filed with the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton in <br />said matter, which said Labor and Material Bond and said Faithful <br />Performance Bond are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY that the-.foregoing resolution was duly <br /> and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, <br /> Alameda County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held <br /> on the ~p day of August, 1970, by the following vote, to wit: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br /> Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: Councilmen None <br /> <br /> ABSENT: Councilmen None <br /> <br />HELEN C, McCARTY, City Clerk, <br />City of Pleasanton, Alameda <br />County, California <br /> <br /> <br />
