R - 70 - 10 <br /> <br />W~EREAS; <br /> <br />WtIEREAS; <br /> <br />WHEREAS; <br /> <br />The City of Pleasanton has established the policy <br />of jointly co-sponsoring various volunteer <br />recreation groups; and <br /> <br />It is anticipated that decisions related to <br />requests for co-sponsored status and direct <br />financial subsidies will be an ever increasing <br />problem for the City of Pleasanton~ and <br /> <br />The Recreation and Park Commission is of the <br />opinion tha~ a uniform manner of processing these <br />applications and requests for financial assistance <br />is mandatory for orderly operation of the recreation <br />program. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br />The Recreation and Park Commission does hereby <br /> <br />recommend the follo%,;ing procedure and limits for <br /> <br />granting co-sponsored status and financial subsidies <br /> <br />to volunteer program organizations. <br /> <br />(1) That all groups annually file an application <br /> for co-sponsored status with the Eecreation <br /> Department by ~4arch 15 whether the application <br /> is an original or a rene%~al. <br /> <br />(2) Along with this application a "Statement of <br /> Compliance" will be filed with the Recreation <br /> Department. The "Statement of Compliance" shall <br /> specify that the group, its officers and members <br /> will: <br /> (a) Comply %.~ith all aspects of City Council <br /> Resolution ~66-92 (6-13-66) related to <br /> re~ulrements and privileges of co-sponsored <br /> status; and <br /> (b) All general rules of facility operation and <br /> personal c©nduct codes enforced by the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> <br />
