RESOLUTION NO. 70-127 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION TO UNDERTAKE <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS <br />TO BE MADE IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1970-1, LONGVIEI2, <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, <br />Alameda County, California, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Petition for the construction of improvements by special <br /> assessment proceedings within the boundaries of the map designated, <br /> "Proposed Boundaries of Assessment District 1970-1, Longview, City of <br /> Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California," which said map <br /> is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, is <br /> corporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth lmrein. <br /> <br /> 2. The Certificate of ~IAC KAY & SO5IPS, Civil Engineers, <br /> <br />datcd tl~e 8th day of June, 1970, certifying that the petition herein- <br />above referred to was signed by the owners of 100 per cent of the area <br />of the property described in said petition, that said property owners <br />have waived all proceedings under the Special Assessment Investigation, <br />Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, and have requested special <br />assessment proceedings for the improvements described in said petition, <br />is incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br /> <br /> 3. It is hereby ordered and determined that the terms and <br />conditions of said petition heretofore incorporated herein be, and they <br />are hereby, accepted and the improvements shall be made in accordance <br />with the terms of said petition, and that the assessment district pro- <br />ceedings shall be instituted and carried through in accordance with <br />the terms of said petition. <br /> <br /> 4. It is hereby found, determined and ordered that MAC KAY & <br />SOMPS shall be Engineer of Work in accordance with the terms and condi- <br />tions of the petition hereinabove referred to, and the contract to be <br />entered into. It is further ordered that STIIRGIS, DEN-DULK, DOUGLASS <br />f ANDERSON, Attorneys at Law, Oakland, California, shall be Special <br />Bond Counsel to prepare all proceedings in accordance with the terms <br /> <br /> <br />
