WHEREAS, such recreational use of the referred property <br /> will be beneficial to the residents of the entire <br /> Livermore-Amador Valley; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Valley Community Services District has legal <br /> <br /> authority, is willing and is in a position to <br /> assume immediate care and maintenance of the <br /> property and utilize it for the immediate recrea- <br /> tional needs of the community~ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> does hereby support the application of the <br /> <br /> Valley Community Services District to the Secretary <br /> of the interior for transfer of the above-mentioned <br /> property for said use upon and subject to such <br /> exceptions, reservations, terms, convenants, <br /> agreements, conditions and restrictions as the <br /> Secretary of the Interior, or his authorized repre- <br /> sentative, may require in connection with the <br /> disposal of said property under said Act and the <br /> rules and regulations issued pursuan~ ~reto. <br /> <br />DATED: December 6, 1971 <br /> <br /> ROBERT I.
