WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 71-245 <br /> <br />RE: A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING VALLEY COMMUNITY <br />SERVICES DISTRICT'S APPLICATION TO THE SECRETARY <br />OF THE INTERIOR FOR PARCEL A-4, SURPLUS GOVERNmeNT <br />PROPERTY, CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 25 ACRES BETWEEN <br />U. S. HIGHWAY 50 AND OLD DUBLIN ROAD FOR PARK AND <br />RECREATION PURPOSES. <br /> <br />certain real property owned by the United States, <br />located in the County of Alameda, State of <br /> <br />California, has been declared surplus ands at <br /> <br />the discretion of the General Services Administration, <br />may be assigned to the Secretary of the Interior <br />for disposal for public park or recreation purposes <br />under the provisions of Section 203(k) (2) of the <br />Federal Property and Administrative Services Act <br />of 1949 (63 Stat. 387), as amended, and rules and <br />regulations promulgated pursuant thereto~ and, <br /> <br />Camp Parks, Parcel A-4, containing 25 acres between <br /> <br />U. S. Highway 50 and Old Dublin Road, Dublin, <br />located within the boundaries of the Valley Commu- <br />nity Services District, has been declared surplus <br />government property; and <br />the Valley Community Services District has, on <br />December 17, 1970, made application to the Secretary <br />of the Interior for Camp Parks, Parcel A-4, surplus <br />government property, and needs and will utilize <br />said property in perpetuity as a public park or <br />recreation area as set forth in its application and <br />in accordance with the requirements of said Act <br />and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder; <br />and <br /> <br /> <br />
