DATED: <br /> <br /> The City of Pleasanton proposes that it be designated the <br /> successor agency to Pleasanton Township County Water <br /> District and requests that it be allowed to propose addi- <br /> tional terms and conditions, if any, by subsequent amend- <br /> ment to this resolution of application. <br /> <br /> The reason for the proposed dissolution herein is the <br /> desire on the part of both Pleasanton Township County <br /> Water District and the City of Pleasanton to eliminate an <br /> apparently no longer necessary governmental entity, the <br /> duties and responsibilities of which can with relative <br /> ease be assumed by the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> It is the hope that proceedings for the dissolution herei~ <br /> proposed can be effected as quickly as is conveniently <br /> <br /> possible in order to ensure comp~t~on on or [·fore <br /> December 31, 1971. ~ ~~ <br />August 30, 1971 J <br /> <br /> Robez I.
