this City Council of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> WHEREAS, the State Legislature has provided this City Council <br /> <br /> of the City of Pleasanton with the power to take those <br /> necessary minimum precautions as set forth in Article 15 <br /> of the California Emergency Services Act~ <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFOPa, BE IT RESOLVED AS FELLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That each member of this City Council of the City of <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, State of California, is hereby requested <br /> to appoint three (3) standby members designated <br /> Numbers 1, 2 and 3 to act in his stead, . pursuant to <br /> the provisions of Artiele 15 of the California Emergency <br /> Services ACt and to provide for the succession of <br /> officers who head departments having duties in the <br /> maintenance of law and order or in the furnishing of <br /> public services relating to health and safety; and <br /> <br />BE IT FU~HER RESOLVED that a copy of the list of such standby <br /> <br /> officers be sent to the Director 'vil Defense for <br /> the City of Pleasanton.
