The said streets, roa~s and rights-of-way adjoin or <br />pass through a civic area. <br /> <br />RESOLV~U, <br /> <br />FURTHER, that the following exceptions in said Under- <br />ground Utility District No. 73-1 be and are hereby <br />authorized, pursuant to Section 509.50 of Article 2, <br />Chapter 10 of Title V of the Ordinance Code of the City <br />of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Poles, or electroliers used exclusively for street <br />lighting. <br /> <br />Overhead wires (exclusive of supporting structures) <br />crossing any portion of the District within which over- <br />head wires have been prohibited, or connecting to build- <br />ings on the perimeter of the District, when such wires <br />originatein an area from which poles; overhead wires <br />and associated overhead structures are not prohibited. <br /> <br />Overhead wires attached to the exterior surface of a <br />building by means of a bracket or other fixture and <br />extending from one location on the builing to another <br />location on the same building or to an adjacent build- <br />ing without crossing any public street. <br /> <br />Equipment appurtenant to underground facilities, such <br />as surface mounted transformers, pedestal mounted <br />terminal boxes and meter cabinets, and concealed ducts. <br /> <br />Temporary poles, overhead wires and associated over- <br />head structures used or to be used in conjunction <br />with construction projects. <br /> <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, that all poles overhead wires and associated <br /> overhead structures shall be removed and underground <br /> installations made in said UndergrOund Utility District <br /> No. 73-1 within the following times: <br /> <br />a. Affected property owners must be ready to receive <br /> underground service not later than September 30}1973. <br /> <br />b. Removal of poles, overhead wires and other associa- <br /> ted structures not later than October 31, 1973. <br /> <br />FURTHER, that the City Clerk, within ten (18) days <br />after the adoption Of this resolution, shall mail a <br />copy hereof and a copy of Ordinance No. 511 to affected <br />property owners as such are shown on the last equalized <br />assessment roll, and to the affected utilities. <br /> <br />)ATED:~ March 19, 1973 <br /> <br />~DOPTED <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilmen Herlihy~ <br />8eel: None <br />Absent: None <br />~hstain: None <br /> <br />by the City Council of th ty o leasanton on ~ <br /> ~ '//~ ~ !
