CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 73~59 <br /> <br /> RE: ADOPTION OF PREVAILING WAGE RATE <br /> IN CITY OF PLEASANTON AREA. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in compliance with Section 1770 et seq. of the <br /> <br /> Labor Code of the State of California, City Council <br /> of the City of Pleasanton, in awarding any contract <br /> for public work must determine the general prevailing <br /> rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate <br /> for holiday and overtime work in the locality in which <br /> the public work is to be performed for each craft, <br /> classification or type of workman needed to execute <br /> the contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section t773, as amended, of t~e sai~EaS~S~ Co~e <br /> <br /> contains a provision whereby if the contract awarding <br /> body determines that the rate of prevailing wa~e for <br /> any craft, classification or type of workman is the <br /> rate established by a collective bargaining agreement, <br /> the said awarding body may adopt such rate by refer- <br /> ence as provided for in such agreement and such <br /> determination shall be effective for the life of such <br /> agreement or until the awarding body determines that <br /> another rate should be adopted: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the following wage criteria <br /> will govern all public works contracts awarded by the <br /> City Council of the City of Pleasanton for public <br /> <br /> <br />
