It is understood.by the parties to this agreement <br />that all employee benefits, except those which. are explicitly referred <br />to in this Memorandum, shall continue in full force and effect during <br />the term of this agreement. <br />B. Salary Increase. A 5% salary increase effective July 1, 1973, <br />C. Health Insurance. City shall, for those employees and their dependents <br />now or hereafter covered by the City's group health coverage (Kaiser B <br />or Blue Cross Standard Plan) contribute a maximum of $36.00 per month <br />toward the coat 'of said coverage. The City further agrees to <br />actively pursue and participate in a County-wide study, the purpose <br />of which is to improve the administration of present health insur- <br />ante plans and to prevent the continual cost increase of said plans. <br />D. Long-Term Disability Insurance. City agrees to continue a mutually <br />agreed upon Long-Term Disability Insurance: Plan and further agrees to <br />contribute to the cost of said plan at a maximum rate of 95 cents per <br />$100.. of monthly salary; in no event shall City's obligation exceed a <br />total payment of $14.25 per month per employee. <br />E." Life Insurance. City agrees to continue the administration of a life <br />insurance plan with the total City contribution per month per employee <br />limited to a maximum of $4.30. <br />III.OBSERVATION OF PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS. It is understood by the <br />parties that the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding, upon <br />acceptance by the City Council, is supplementary to the Personnel Rules <br />and Regulations now or hereafter in effect for the employees of the City <br />of Pleasanton.
