Resolution No. 99-140 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br />The ballot language on the advisory measure shall be as follows: <br /> <br />"Should wastewater from treated sewage that has been further treated with reverse <br />osmosis (RO) technology be injected into the Valley's groundwater basin that <br />serves as the pomble (drinking) water supply for Pleasanton and the Livermore <br />Amador Valley?" <br /> <br />Yes No <br /> <br />Publishing Notice for Deadline for Ballot Arguments, Submission of Ballot <br />Arguments and Impartial Analysis. <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall publish or post a notice regarding the deadlines for <br />suhinittal of ballot arguments concerning the measure. <br /> <br />The last day for submission of direct arguments for or against the measure <br />shall be 5:00 p .m. on December 17, 1999. <br /> <br />The last day for submission of rebuttal arguments for or against the measure <br />shall be 5:00 p.m. on December 27, 1999. <br /> <br />Direct argumems shall not exceed 300 words and shall be signed by not <br />more than five pe~ons. <br /> <br />Rebuttal arguments shall not exceed 250 words and shall be signed by not <br />more than five persons, who may be di~%rent than those who signed the <br />direct argtunents. <br /> <br />f. <br /> <br />The City Attorney shall prepare by December 27, 1999, an impartial <br />analysis of the measure showing the effect of the measure. <br /> <br />The City Council hereby requests the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to <br />order this election to be conducted by Alameda County ¢m March 7, 2000, in <br />conjunction with the Regular Election being held within the County on that date, <br />with the actual costs fur said election to be reimbursed by the City to the County. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective inunediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
