Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program 1. Transportation <br />Page 45 <br />TRANSPORTATION <br />Mitigation Measure: d2a. Improve the 1-680 northbound onramp at Beroal Avenue from <br />one lane to two lanes, subject to a reimbursement agreement <br />with the City of Pleasanton; if the City has su[ficient funds <br />available when the improvement is needed, then the project <br />sponsor may fund only the project's fair share of the improve- <br />ment. <br />Impact to be Mitigated: Project traffic would contribute [o traffic volumes a[ the 1-680 NB onramp <br />and SB otTramp, contributing to unacceptable ramp service levels during <br />the AM and PM peak hours. <br />AgencyQndividual <br />Responsible for <br />Implementation: Site developer and City of Pleasanton, Public Works Deparnnent <br />Implementation Timing: Monitoring to begin upon completion of first building. <br />Improvement to be undertaken when traffic volumes exceed 1,600 vehi- <br />cles per lane per hour. <br />Mitigation Specifications: Site Develooer: <br />(I) Include reyuiremen[ for interohange funding in the Development <br />Agreement. <br />(2) Provide funding as necessary for intersection improvements <br />pursuant to the feints of [he Development Agreement. <br />Citv of Pleasanton: <br />(3) Conduct monitoring studies at onramp until traffic volume reaches <br />1,600 vehicles per hour. <br />(4) Review monitoring reports and determine when traffic has reached <br />the level that requires improvements. <br />(5) Prepare improvement plans. <br />(6) Complete additional CEQA review. <br />(7) Obtain design approval and Encroachment Perini[ from Caltrans. <br />(8) Collect project funding from site developer per Development <br />Agreement. <br />(9) Constmct improvements. <br />Agency/Individual <br />Responsible for <br />Monitoring: City of Pleasanton, Public Works Department <br />
