The Pire Department has advocated modification of the Pleasanton code to apply to all residential and nonresidential structures larger than 200 square feet. If this new standard or any change from the existing standard is adopted prior to development of Phase II of the site, subsequent development on Phase II should confomt to [he new requirement. (Subsequent development on Phase I would be subject to the terms of the Development AgrecmenL) The August, 2000 Specific Plan states (Fire Protection Guideline 2.3) that residences that cannot be served within a satisfactory response time from the new fire station are required to be equipped with automatic sprinkler systems.
