SECTION HI (Continued) <br /> <br />A~endaPostine <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall post an agcnda at least 72 hours before any Council meeting. at <br />City Hall offices at 200 Old Bemal Avenue and at 123 Main Street. <br /> <br />The agenda shall specify the time and location of the meeting and contain a brief <br />description of each item of business to be transacted or discussed at the meeting. <br /> <br />Summaries of proposed and adopted ordinances shall be published in a local newspaper. <br /> <br />Delivery of A~,enda Material to Council <br /> <br />City staff shall endeavor to deliver all agenha material, including all staff reports and <br />exhibits, to the City Council no later than 8:00 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding a regular <br />City Council meeting. In the event that agenda materials are not delivered as provided <br />above, the City Council may continue the item unffi the next regularly scheduled City <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />Minutes ofProceedines <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall record an account of all public proceedings of the City Council and <br />enter such account into official minute books of the Council. These minutes, following <br />approval by the Council, shall be available to the public and wffi be considered the City's <br />official record of the meeting. <br /> <br />1. Preparation of Mim.es <br /> <br />To ensure uniformity of minute entries and to save time composing the record, <br />all minutes will be prepared with one standardized format. <br /> <br />Minutes will include a statement of all Council actions, including motions nutde <br />and vote thereon. Communication by members of the public shall include name, <br />address, and subject matter. <br /> <br />Oral or written presentations by members of the Council or the public w~l be <br />paraphrased unless written materials are specifically requested to be included by <br />reference. <br /> <br />2. Reading of Minutes <br /> <br />Unless a Councilmember requests the reading of the mimltes, the minutes shall <br />be approved without reading ff the Clerk has furnished each Councilmember with <br />a copy. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
