Updated Recommended Improvement Plan <br /> <br />include policies to prohibit urban expansion in specified geographic areas and to change <br />the distribution of planned land uses to reduce impacts on regional routes. It should be <br />noted that the TVTP/AP is a 2010 plan and land use recommendations apply to 2010 and <br />not "buildout". <br /> <br />Action Plans in Contra Costa County are required to include the following components: <br /> <br />. Long-range assumptions. regarding future land use based on local General Plans <br /> <br />. A procedure for review of impacts resulting from proposed local General Plan amend- <br />ments that have the potential to influence the effectiveness of adopted Action Plans <br /> <br />The following are requirements for a Contra Costa County jurisdiction to be considered in <br />compliance in relation to Regional Routes: <br /> <br />. Submission to Regional Committee of proposed revision{s) to Action Plan to mitigate <br />impacts associated with proposed General Plan amendments. General Plan amendments <br />that would reduce the effectiveness of adopted Action Plans may lead to a determina- <br />tion of non-compliance if the Action Plan cannot be revised with the approval of the <br />Regional Committee and the CCTA. <br /> <br />Contra Costa County Action Plans may include the following types of actions: <br /> <br />Land Use Policy <br /> <br />. Modify allowable densities for newly developing areas or areas where redevelopment is <br />anticipated. <br /> <br />. Change distribution of planned land uses (new or redeveloped) to reduce impacts on <br />Regional Routes. <br /> <br />. Prohibit urban expansion in specified geographic areas. <br /> <br />.
