Resolution No. 00-039 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The Fire Inspector is ordered to abate the nuisance declared by Resolution No. <br />00-024 by having the weeds, rubbish and refuse removed and for this purpose, the <br />Fire Inspector may enter upon private property to abate the nuisance. Before the <br />Fire Inspector arrives, any property owner may remove the weeds, rubbish or <br />refuse at their own expense. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The Fire Inspector or the contractor awarded the work by the City for removal of <br />weeds, rubbish or refuse as the case may be, shall keep an account of the cost of <br />abatement in front of or on each separate parcel of land where the work is done <br />and shall submit to the City Council for consideration, heating or objections, <br />modification and confirmation, an itemized written report showing the cost, all as <br />more particularly described by Government Code Section 39574. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 18, 2000 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Michael H.
