Utility District No. 75-2. Attached hereto, marked <br />"Exhibit A", and hereby incorporated as part of this <br />resolution, is a map delineating the boundaries of <br />said District. <br /> <br />RESOLVED, <br /> <br />FURTHER, that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> hereby makes the following further findings with <br /> regard to Underground Utility District No. 75-2. <br /> <br />The undergrounding to be accomplished pursuant to this <br />resolution will avoid or eliminate an unusually heavy <br />concentration of overhead distribution facilities. <br /> <br />The streets, roads and rights-of-way in the District <br />are extensively used by the general public and carry <br />a heavy volume of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. <br /> <br />3. The said streets, roads and rights-of-way i~ass through <br /> of adjoin a civic area. <br /> <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, that the following exceptions in said Under- <br /> ground Utility District No. 75-2 be and are hereby <br /> authorized, pursuant to ~5-9.50 of Article 2, Chapter <br /> 10 of Title V of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Poles, or electroliers used exclusively for straet <br />lighting. <br /> <br />Overhead wires (exclusive of supporting structures) <br />crossing any portion of the District within which <br />overhead wires have been prohibited, or connecting to <br />buildings on the perimeter of the District, when such <br />wires originate in an area from which poles, overhead <br />wires and associated overhead structures are not pro- <br />hibited. <br /> <br />Overhead wires attached to the exterior surface of a <br />building by means of a bracket or other fixture and <br />extending from one location on the building to another <br />location on the same building or to an adjacent build- <br />ing without crossing any public street. <br /> <br />Equipment appurtenant to underground facilities, such <br />as surface mounted transformers, pedestal mounted <br />terminal bootes and meter cabinets, and concealed ~cts. <br /> <br />Temporary poles, overhead wires and associated over- <br />head structures used or to be used in conjunction <br />with construction projects. <br /> <br />P~SOLVED FURTtlER, that all poles, overhead wires and associated <br /> overhead structures shall be removed and undergrou~d <br /> installations made in said Underground Utility <br /> District No. 75-2 witbin the following times: <br /> <br />a. Affected property o~mers must be ready to receive <br />underground service not later than February 9, 1976. <br /> <br />b. Removal of poles, overhead wires and other associ- <br />ated structures not later than June 1, 1976. <br /> <br />RESOLVED, <br /> <br />FURTHER, that the City Clerk, within ten (10) days <br /> after the adoption of this resolution, shall mail a <br /> copy hereof and a copy of Chapter 10 (Underground <br /> Utilities), of Title V of the Ordinance Code of the <br /> <br /> <br />
