Utility District No. 75-2. Attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and hereby incorporated as part of this resolution, is a map delineating the boundaries of said District. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton hereby makes the following further findings with regard to Underground Utility District No. 75-2. The undergrounding to be accomplished pursuant to this resolution will avoid or eliminate an unusually heavy concentration of overhead distribution facilities. The streets, roads and rights-of-way in the District are extensively used by the general public and carry a heavy volume of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. 3. The said streets, roads and rights-of-way i~ass through of adjoin a civic area. RESOLVED FURTHER, that the following exceptions in said Under- ground Utility District No. 75-2 be and are hereby authorized, pursuant to ~5-9.50 of Article 2, Chapter 10 of Title V of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton. Overhead wires (exclusive of supporting structures) crossing any portion of the District within which overhead wires have been prohibited, or connecting to buildings on the perimeter of the District, when such wires originate in an area from which poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures are not pro- hibited. Overhead wires attached to the exterior surface of a building by means of a bracket or other fixture and extending from one location on the building to another location on the same building or to an adjacent build- ing without crossing any public street. Equipment appurtenant to underground facilities, such as surface mounted transformers, pedestal mounted terminal bootes and meter cabinets, and concealed ~cts. Temporary poles, overhead wires and associated over- head structures used or to be used in conjunction with construction projects. P~SOLVED FURTtlER, that all poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures shall be removed and undergrou~d installations made in said Underground Utility District No. 75-2 witbin the following times: a. Affected property o~mers must be ready to receive underground service not later than February 9, 1976. b. Removal of poles, overhead wires and other associ- ated structures not later than June 1, 1976.
