RESOLVED, <br /> <br />RESOLVED <br /> <br />hereby makes the following further findings with regard <br />to Underground Utility District No. 75-1. <br /> <br />The undergrounding to be accomplished pursuant to this <br />resolution will avoid or eliminate an unusually heavy <br />concentration of overhead distribution facilities. <br /> <br />The streets,roads and rights-of-way in the District are <br />extensively used by general public and carry a heavy <br />volume of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. <br /> <br />The said streets, roads and rights-of-way adjoin or pass <br />through a civic area. <br /> <br />FURTHER, that the following exceptions in said Under- <br />ground Utility District No. 75-1 be and are hereby <br />authorized, pursuant to ~5-9.50 of Article 2, Chapter <br />10, of Title V of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton: <br /> <br />Poles, or electroliers used exclusively for street light~ <br />ing. <br /> <br />Overhead wires (exclusive of supporting structures) <br />crossing any portion of the District within which over- <br />head wires have been prohibited, or connectin~ to build- <br />ings on the perimeter of the District, when such wires <br />originate in an area from which poles, overhead wires <br />and associated overhead structures are not prohibited. <br /> <br />Overhead wires attached to the exterior surface of a <br />building by means of a bracket or other fixture and <br />extending from one location on the building to another <br />location on the same building or to an adjacent building <br />without crossing any public street. <br /> <br />Equipment appurtenant to underground facilities, such <br />as surface mounted transformers, pedestal mounted term- <br />inal boxes and meter cabinets, and concealed ducts. <br /> <br />Temporary poles, overhead wires and associated overhead <br />structures used or to be used in conjunction with con- <br />struction projects. <br /> <br />FURTHER, that all poles, overhead wires and associated <br />overhead structures shall be removed and underground <br />installations made in said Underground Utility District <br />No. 75-1 within the following times: <br /> <br />Affected property owners must be ready to receive <br />underground service not later than September 1, <br />1975. <br /> <br />b. Removal of poles, overhead wires and other associated <br /> structures no later than December 1, 1975. <br /> <br /> <br />
