need for the Stoneridge overcrossing and to provide full <br />opportunity for questions to be asked and answered, and due <br />to the full opportunity for discussion which has occurred <br />in the past, it is not believed that additional public <br />hearings on the negative declaration for the Stoneridge <br />overcrossing will provide any additional productive informa- <br />tion. <br />NO~7, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Due to the conduct of prior community meetings and <br /> published notices thereof, it is determined that no suffi- <br /> cient interest or concern exists within the City of <br /> Pleasanton to require an additional public hearing on the <br /> negative declaration issued by the City of Pleasanton on <br /> the proposed overcrossing across highway 1-680 at Stone- <br /> ridge Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council urges State and Federal officials <br /> <br /> required to approve this project to affix their signatures <br /> to the negative declaration or such other documents as are <br /> necessary to indicate that sufficient action has been under- <br /> taken by the City for public imput in determining the need <br /> for said project and that it will not have a negative <br /> effect on the environment to require an environmental <br /> determination other than a negative declaration. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to provide copies of this <br /> <br /> resolution to the necessary State and Federal officials <br />Section 4.
