WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-156 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION INITIATING A CHANG IN THE <br />PERMITTED USES IN THE C-S (COMMERCIAL SERVICE) <br />DISTRICT RELATING TO PICTURE FRAMING SHOPS. <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of July 14, 1975, was <br />requested by the representatives of Valley Realty to <br />amend the Ordinance Code to allow picture framing shops <br />as an allowed use in the C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District; and <br />the City Council desires the Planning Commission to <br />hold the necessary public hearings to consider such <br />an amendment to the Ordinance Code; and <br />the City Council desires a report from the Planning <br />Commission with respect to whether or not the estab- <br />lishment of picture framing shops in the C-S (Commercial <br />Service) District would be compatible with other uses <br />specified in said district; and <br />the City Council is aware of the fact that the Planning <br />Commission, at its meeting of May 14, 1975, denied a <br />request to establish a picture framing shop in a C-S <br />District; and <br />the City Council is initiating this zoning study in <br />order to consider establishing picture framing shops <br />as a permitted use in the C-S District is compatible <br /> <br /> with other uses therein. <br />NOW~ THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> <br />Section 1. Pursuant to Section 2-12.04b of the Ordinance Code of <br /> the City of Pleasanton, hereby initiates a proposed <br /> change in the permitted uses allowed in the C-S (Commer- <br /> cial Service) District to allow picture framing shops. <br /> <br /> <br />
