Only <br /> lands designated in the Solid Waste Plan and <br /> in the General Plan as being suitable for a <br /> disposal site according tO the Solid Waste <br /> Plan's preliminary criteria should be con- <br /> sidered as sites and these must be subjecte~ <br /> to a critical review before approval as a <br /> site." <br /> <br />(c) That a policy statement be added to "Landfill Sites- <br /> Policies" precisely that gravel quarries within the <br /> <br />Amador-Livermore Valley are not suitable for use as dis- <br />posal sites; <br /> <br />(d) That a policy be added to'Landfill Sites - Policies" <br /> that landfill sites be located only in areas where <br /> possible failure of artificial barriers containing <br /> the solid waste would not degrade a municipal water <br /> supply; <br /> <br /> (e) That a policy be added to "Landfill Sites Policies" <br /> be located outside cities' spheres of influence; <br /> <br /> (f) That a policy be added to "Policy Recommendation - <br /> Funding and Financing" (pg.
