CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-230 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE PRELIMINARY COUNTY SOLID <br /> WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN AND EIR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Nejedly-Z'Berg-Dills Solid Waste Management and <br /> Resource Recovery Act of 1972 (G.C.§66700) requires each <br /> County in cooperation with affected local jurisdictions <br /> to prepare a comprehensive, coordinated solid waste <br /> management plan; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, the Alameda County Solid Waste Management Plan Advisory <br /> Committee has prepared a draft of the Solid Waste Manage- <br /> ment Plan for Alameda County in conformance with the above <br /> Act and State policy for concurrence by the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 18, 1975, said committee submitted said draft <br /> plan and draft EIR to this Council for preliminary approval <br /> and/or comments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council reviewed said draft plan and draft EIR on <br /> October 13, 1975 and did hold a public hearing on Octo- <br /> ber 28, 1975, at which time all interested persons were <br /> heard by this Council; and <br /> <br />Wt{EP~AS, the County of Alameda is desirous of receiving City input <br /> prior to the preparation of a final Solid Waste Manage- <br /> ment Plan, which will be subject to cities approval at a <br /> later date; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> KESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton concurs in <br /> the principles and objectives of said plan subject to <br /> the recommendations more specifically set forth in <br /> Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br /> <br />
