CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-33 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION A_~NDING THE GUIDELINES AND PROCESSING <br /> PROCEDURES FOR THE REVIEW OF PROJECTS BY THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON AS THEY RELATE TO ADMINISTRATION AND <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT ON DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTS <br /> <br />~EREAS, the City of Pleasanton is required by State law to pre- <br /> pare and adopt procedures and guidelines for the process- <br /> ing and preparation of environmental reports consistent <br /> with the Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended, <br /> and Guidelines prepared by the Secretary of Resources; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted resolutions establishing <br /> environmental impact guidelines and reports, said resolu- <br /> tions being Nos. 73-58, 73-61, 74-24, 74-133, 74-134 and <br /> 75-22; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Housing and Community Development was <br /> designated as the appropriate City official for the admin- <br /> istration of the City's guidelines and procedures and was <br /> charged with the responsibility of reviewing and deter- <br /> mining whether a project required a negative declaration <br /> or an environmental impact report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the position of Director of Housing and Community Devel- <br /> opment has become vacant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager is the chief administrative officer of <br /> the City charged with the responsibility for enforcing <br /> and carrying out the rules and regulations of the City; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager is the appropriate official to adminis- <br /> ter the guidelines and processing procedures for the <br /> review of projects by the City of Pleasanton to deter- <br /> mine their environmental effect; and <br /> <br /> <br />
