WHEREAS, the City Council received a report on the proposed <br />application from the City Manager; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 15, 1976 the City Council received a report <br />from Mr. Jim Walker and a presentation from a repre- <br />sentative of the Chamber of Commerce. <br />INOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That the application by radio station KNBR for the <br />Good Times Parade on May 23, 1976 including the pro- <br />posed alternate route and the adjustment of the City <br />budget to cover City expenses for the parade of approxi- <br />mately two thousand eight hundred dollars ($2,800.00), <br />be approved subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the applicant meet all conditions recommended <br />by the Department of Public Safety. <br />2. That the applicant provide insurance coverage of <br />one million dollars ($1,000,000) for personal in- <br />jury and one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) <br />for property damage. <br />3. That the applicant submit all activities related to <br />the parade to the Department of Public Safety for <br />review and approval. <br />Section 2.
