CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-57 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF RADIO STATION <br />KNBR FOR THE GOOD TIMES PARADE ON MAY 23, 1976. <br />WHEREAS, radio station KNBR, through the Pleasanton Chamber of <br />Commerce, has submitted an application for a parade <br />permit for the "Good Times Parade"; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant proposes conducting the parade on May 23, <br />1976 starting at 1:OOpm and ending at 4:OOpm; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has requested City Council to approve <br />a parade route forming at Amador High School and pro- <br />ceeding south on Santa Rita Road, continuing on Main <br />;street and turning west on Bern«1 Avenue and there <br />disbanding; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety has approved that route; <br />and <br />the applicant radio station KNBR, by signing the appli- <br />cation has agreed to hold the City harmless from actions <br />that might occur as a result of the parade; and <br />no parade has already been approved for May 23, 1976; <br />and <br />the applicant has requested that all concessionaires be <br />limited to local community service and youth groups to <br />be screened by the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce; and <br />the applicant has indicated that all concession areas <br />be limited to various parking lots and curb sides ap- <br />proved by the Department of Public Safety; and <br />the applicant has agreed to submit a list of approved <br />and screened vendors to the Department of Public Safety <br />for their approval; and <br />the applicant agrees to all conditions required by the <br />City Council; and <br />-1- <br />
