WHEREAS, Mr. Harold Johnson appealed the decision of the Planning <br />Commission denying his request for home occupation permit <br />to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council heard this request at its meeting of <br />April 12, 1976; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council had before them the minutes from the <br />March 10, 1976, City Planning Commission meeting togeth- <br />er with the Staff recommendation; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing and heard from <br />applicant and any other interested individual who wished <br />to speak on this matter; and <br />WHEREAS, at the close of the public hearing the City Council <br />deliberated on the evidence which was presented to it <br />both in written and verbal form. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council sustains the action of the Planning <br />Commission and denies the appeal of Harold Johnson to a <br />decision of the Planning Commission rendered on March <br />10, 1976, denying an application to extend a home <br />occupation permit for the purpose of repairing televisi <br />sets at a residence located at 2609 Corte Elena in the <br />City of Pleasanton. <br />Section 2. The decision of the City Council is based upon the <br />evidence presented to it in written and verbal form at <br />its meeting of April 12, 1976, the determination of the <br />City Planning Commission, and the provisions of <br />Article 20, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code <br />of the City of Pleasanton relating to home occupations <br />and the regulations contained in §2-10.17 relating to <br />home occupations. <br />-2- <br />
