with a proposed land-use permit attached thereto, <br />were considered by the City Council, at their <br />meeting of March 22, 1976. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Authorizes execution by the mayor on behalf of the <br />City Council of a land-use permit with the San <br />Francisco Water Department, for leasing of approxi- <br />mately 489 acres owned by the City and County of <br />San Francisco, within the area of the Sunol Sewage <br />Treatment Facility, subject to the following amend- <br />ment to Paragraph 27: <br />27. Permittee agrees and understands that he is <br />responsible for the wells used to irrigate the <br />demised premises. Responsibility shall include <br />operation, preventive maintenance and normal <br />upkeep of such wells, motor, powerlines, and <br />pumps located on the premises. Permittee shall <br />furnish at his own expense all necessary power <br />and distribution apparatuses. In the event of <br />a major failure due to age or Other unforeseen <br />circumstance (including but not limited to <br />collapse of the casing, worn pumps, broken <br />shafts, burnt out or leaking bearings or seals, <br />or motor failure), or in the event of changes <br />required by local, State or Federal Regulations, <br />permittee shall make such repairs or changes as <br />necessary after receiving approval from the City <br />of San Francisco Water Department and shall be <br />reimbursed for the costs of such repairs or <br />changes by City. <br />Section 2.
