CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-94 <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE DECISION <br />OF THE CITY MANAGER THAT AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />REPORT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THE RELOCATION OF THE <br />UNITED PRESBYTERIAN COMMUNITY CHURCH OF PLEASAN- <br />TON ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4300 MIRADOR DRIVE. <br />'.WHEREAS, the United Presbyterian Community Church is presently <br />located at the northwest corner of Neal Street and <br />Second Street; and <br />WHEREAS, said church proposes to move said structure to a new <br />location at 4300 Mirador Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager, pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures, is responsible for determin- <br />ing whether or not an Environmental Impact Report or <br />Negative Declaration is necessary prior to the determi- <br />nation being made whether or not to approve the reloca- <br />tion of the church; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager determined that a Negative Declaration <br />should issue on this project; and <br />WHEREAS, this determination of the City Manager was appealed pur- <br />suant to Section 5.4 (b) of the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures of the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of April 26, 1976, con- <br />sidered a Staff Report of April 20, 1976 together with <br />a Letter of Appeal of April 11, 1976, appended thereto, <br />and a Response to the Appeal dated April 16, 1976, from <br />the Building Committee of the United Presbyterian Com- <br />munity Church; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in order to allow <br />any and all persons to testify in this particular matter <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at the conclusion of this public hearing the City <br />Council deliberated upon the information received in <br />-1- <br />
