WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of April 26, 1976, <br />considered a Staff report dated April 19, 1976, together <br />with a written appeal of April 8, 1976, a Staff report <br />to the Planning Commission of April 14, 1976, and <br />Exhibit "A" to said Staff report together with Sections <br />5.2 and 5.3 of the Environmental Impact Guidelines and <br />Procedures of the City of Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, after conducting a Public Hearing and reviewing the <br />evidence presented to it the City Council made its <br />determination; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Denies the appeal of the determination of the City <br />Manager to file a negative declaration for an amendment <br />to the circulation element of the Pleasanton General <br />Plan for the area bounded by Hopyard Road, I-580, <br />Tassajara Road and the extension of West Las Positas <br />Blvd., between Hopyard Road and Santa Rita Road. The <br />City Council is not of the opinion that the proposed <br />amendment to the circulation element of the General <br />Plan will have a significant impact upon the environment <br />to necessitate the preparation of an Environmental <br />Impact Report. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON APRIL 26, 1976, BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClAire, Mercer and Mayor <br />Philcox.
