improvements made to each building site for which a <br />Section 11 <br />sewer connection has been issued. Revocation of an <br />issued sewer connection shall occur when the holder of <br />the sewer connection has been advised, either orally <br />or in writing, of said revocation by the City Manager, <br />or his representative, and by tendering reimbursement <br />of the appropriate fees. The same revocation procedure <br />shall apply to any action of the Regional Board reimposing <br />a connection ban upon the Sunol STP. <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY FAIR <br />The City Council expressed its <br />intent to continue the present procedures regarding <br />operation of the Sunol STP during the Alameda County <br />Fair. These procedures include: <br />a. Operating the plant with a full staff seven days <br />a week during the Fair operation and the following <br />clean-up period. <br />b. Coordinating with Kaiser Industrial Research for <br />discharge of the wastewater from its holding tanks <br />so that they occur only during off-peak hours at <br />night at the plant. <br />In addition, the City Council will request that the <br />Alameda County Fair perform an in-house sewer survey <br />to identify possible areas where sewage flow from that <br />facility can be reduced. Once the above survey is <br />completed, the City would seek the cooperation and <br />assistance of the Fair Board of Directors in implementing <br />reasonable procedures to reduce waste quantity discharges <br />to the City sewerage system. <br />Section 12. REVIEW <br />The City Council directs the staff to review <br />existing ordinances and procedures pertaining to disposal <br />of sewage into the sewage system and operation of the <br />-12- <br />
