CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-111 <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CITY COUNCIL'S INTENT TO <br />CONSIDER REZONING PROPERTY BELONGING TO WILLOW-WEST <br />INC., CONSISTING OF SUM 354 ACRES OF PROPERTY LOCATED <br />BETWEEN HOPYARD ROAD AND THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAIL- <br />ROAD TRACKS <br />WHEREAS, on December 16, 1974, the City Council amended the <br />Pleasanton General Plan for approximately 354 acres of <br />property belonging to Willow-West Inc. from limited <br />industrial, general industrial, highway commercial, <br />service commercial, professional and administrative <br />offices and parks and recreation to limited industrial, <br />general industrial, highway commercial and professional <br />and administrative offices; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 13, 1975, Willow West Inc., filed an application <br />with the City for rezoning of said 354 acres to bring <br />said property into conformance with the revised General <br />Plan designation; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the preparation of an Environmental Impact <br />Report, on April 14, 1976, the proposed rezoning came <br />before the City Planning Commission for consideration; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, after conducting a Public Hearing pursuant to Government <br />Code Section 65850 et seq. the Planning Commission <br />adopted Resolution No. 1404 recommending approval of <br />RZ-75-4; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 10, 1976, the City Council at its regular meeting <br />II conducted a Public Hearing in order to determine whether <br />or not to rezone the property owned by Willow-West Inc., <br />as recommended by the Planning Commission; and <br />''WHEREAS, at said hearing the City Council permitted the owner and <br />all interested members of the general public to present <br />any and all evidence which they desired to present to <br />the City Council with respect to the rezoning of said <br />property; and <br />
