WHEREAS, after considering said report and agreement, the City <br />Council determined that this was the most efficient way <br />of providing emergency ambulance services in the <br />Pleasanton area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Authorizes the Mayor to execute, with Alameda County, <br />an agreement entitled Emergency Ambulance Service Pro- <br />gram Agreement for Zone V. <br />Section 2. The City Clerk is authorized to transmit a copy of <br />this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Alameda <br />County advising them of the action taken by the City <br />of Pleasanton. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON JULY 12, 1976 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer and <br />Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST: <br />William H.
