CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMIDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-163 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN <br />FOR TOP MANAGEMENT, CITY ATTORNEY APPOINTED, <br />INDIVIDUALLY NEGOTIATED, MIDDLE MANAGEMENT <br />AND CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL FOR THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON AND AMENDING THE 1976-77 BUDGET <br />ACCORDINGLY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the establishment of and designation <br />of employees as top management, City Attorney appointed, individually <br />negotiated, middle management, and confidential employees; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended compensation plans for these <br />employees; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has received notices from those employees who are <br />designated middle management, City Attorney appointed, individually <br />negotiated, and confidential employees indicating their desire to be <br />compensated under the appropriate compensation plans rather than under <br />the applicable Memorandum of Understanding negotiated with the PCEA or <br />the IAFF, Local 1974; and <br />~1HEREAS, certain benefits contained in said compensation plan shall be computed <br />as of July 1, 1976, in accordance with Resolution No. 76-144; and <br />7HEREAS, the City Council on May 24, 1976, by Resolution No. 76-124, approved <br />the City Manager's Preliminary Budget for the 1976-77 Fiscal Year. <br />THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS <br />LOWS: <br />tion 1. The report of the City Manager dated June 10, 1976, entitled <br />"Proposed Management Compensation Plan and Strategy - 1976-77", <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby approved as amended. <br />tion 2. The salary schedule included as Exhibit B, to top management, <br />City Attorney appointed, individually negotiated, middle management, <br />and confidential personnel, is hereby approved. <br />tion 3. The Memoranda of Understanding, as set forth in Exhibit C, is <br />hereby approved. <br />
