CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-194 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF EDDIE SANDERS <br /> FROM AN ADVERSE DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> IN V-76-12 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment, at its meeting of July 14, 1976, <br /> conducted a public hearing in the case of V-76-12, an <br /> application by Eddie Sanders for a free standing sign <br /> to be located in front of the 7-11 store at 3760 Hopyard <br /> Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment denied said request on the fact <br /> that the Board could not make the necessary findings <br /> required for the granting of a variance pursuant to <br /> Article 26, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code <br /> of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Sanders appealed this decision to the City Council; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council, at its meeting of August 23, 1976, con- <br /> sidered said variance appeal together with the staff <br /> report of August 4, 1976, to the City Council from the <br /> Director of Planning, a report of July 14, 1976 from the <br /> Planning Director to the Board of Adjustment and the <br /> minutes of the Board of Adjustment from its meeting of <br /> July 14, 1976; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing at which time <br /> Mr. Sanders and any other member of the public was <br /> allowed to testify either for or against said applica- <br /> tion; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon closing the public hearing the City Council de- <br /> liberated upon this matter and considered all the evi- <br /> dence presented to it at the public hearing together <br /> with the written materials provided to it in the staff <br /> reports. <br /> <br /> <br />
