CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 76-182 A RESOLUTION GRANTING THE APPEAL OF LORIN MEDEIROS TO A DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION DENYING UP-76-17 AN APPLICATION FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Lorin Medeiros, owner of Pleasanton Liquors located at 728 Main Street, applied to the Planning Commission for a conditional use permit and design review approval in orde~ to operate an ice machine in the parking lot area of his property at the above address; and the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this conditional use permit application at its meeting of June 23, 1976; and at the close of said public hearing, and after reviewing the staff report, site plan, and hearing public testimony, the Planning Commission denied the application of Lorin Medeiros for UP-76-17; and WHEREAS, Mr. Medeiros appealed the decision of the Planning Commis- sion to the City Council at their meeting of August 9,1976; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 9, 1976 and after considering staff reports, reviewing the site plan and hearing public testin~ony,closed the public hear- ing; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the holding of the public hearing, Council- me~bers discussed this application, together with Resolu- tion No. 1427 of the Planning Commission and staff reports dated June 23, 1976 and July 20, 1976; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Grants the appeal of Lorin Medeiros to a decision of the Planning Commission denying UP-76-17, and approves the retention and operation of an ice vending machine in the parking lot of Pleasanton Liquors at 728 Main Street
