for the purposes of public use in order to meet its <br /> obligation for public access T.V.; and <br />WHEREAS, Tele-Vue Systems, Inc., at the City Council meeting <br /> of September 13, 1976, provided to the Council a <br /> program for insuring that facilities would be available <br /> for public access purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council deliberated upon the information <br /> provided to it at its public hearings as well as <br /> written staff reports of August 3, 1976 and letters <br /> from Tele-Vue Systems, Inc. of September 3 and <br /> September 8, 1976. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes Tele-Vue Systems, Inc. to charge the <br /> following rates to customers located within the City <br /> of Pleasanton: <br /> Service Charges: <br /> <br /> a. Primary outlet, T.V. or F.M. $ 7.00 <br /> b. Each additional T.V. outlet $ 1.50 <br /> c. F.M. outlet $ 1.50 <br /> d. Commercial accounts negotiated on <br /> individual basis <br /> <br /> Other Charges: <br /> <br /> a. New installation, underground $35.00 <br /> b. Install additional outlet $15.00 <br /> c. Reconnect $10.00 <br /> d. Reconnect non-pay disconnected <br /> customer $10.00 <br /> (Plus balance due, plus $15.00 deposit) <br /> e. Relocate existing outlet $15.00 <br /> f. Remote subscriber, where drop or <br /> distribution system must be extended <br /> over 150 feet Time + <br /> Material <br /> <br />Section 2. Agrees with Tele-Vue Systems, Inc.'s commitment to <br /> appropriate $7,000 for the purposes of acquiring <br /> additional equipment to provide public access tele- <br /> vision services to the general public. <br /> <br />Section 3. Directs Tele-Vue Sytems, Inc. to appear before the <br /> City Council within one year with a report delineating <br /> the experience it has had with public access tele- <br /> vision, the number of users using its system, infor- <br /> mation regarding rate application request with other <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
