WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />IWHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA~ <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 76-207 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE <br />RATES CHARGED BY TELE-VUE SYSTEMS, INCORPORATED <br />TO ITS CUSTOMERS AND IMPOSING CERTAIN CONDITIONS <br />WITH RESPECT TO PUBLIC ACCESS TELEVISION. <br /> <br />Tele-Vue Systems, Incorporated is the City of <br />Pleasanton's cable television franchisee under <br />Ordinance 376; and <br /> <br />Tele-Vue Systems, Inc. applied to the City Council <br />for authorization to raise its rates to its customers <br />said request having been submitted on March 26, 1976; <br />and <br /> <br />Tele-Vue Systems, Inc.'s request for a rate increase <br />was subject to staff review in order to insure that <br />there is sufficient justification for said rate <br />increase; and <br />the last rate increase given to Tele-Vue Systems, Inc. <br />was authorized on August 11, 1969; and <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton held public <br />hearings with respect to the rate increase requested <br />by Tele-Vue Systems, Inc., at which time Tele-Vue <br />Systems representatives as well as representatives <br />of other groups and the public at large were allowed <br />to speak with respect to said rate increase; and <br />during the course of these public hearings, the City <br />Council was informed of Tele-Vue's responsibility <br />under federal communications regulations to provide <br />public a~cess T.V.; and <br />the City Council was requested to insure that Tele-Vue <br />Systems, Inc. provided additional television equipment <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
