WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-247 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION DENYING APPEAL OF DECISION OF <br /> THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD AND PLANNING COMMIS- <br /> SION IN ZONING PERMIT AND CONDITIONAL USE <br /> PERMIT CASES Z-76-120 and UP-76-19 TO ALLOW <br /> VEHICULAR ACCESS TO VERVAIS AVENUE FROM PROP- <br /> ERTY LOCATED AT 4262 STANLEY BLVD. <br /> <br />Pleasanton Body Shop, located at 4262 Stanley Blvd., <br />was approved as a conditional use by the Planning <br />Commission on June 11, 1975 subject to numerous con- <br />ditions; and <br />one of the conditions of said use permit was that no <br />vehicular access could occur from the Pleasanton Body <br />Shop site to Vervais Avenue, although Pleasanton Body <br />Shop did have frontage on Vervais Avenue; and <br />the condition against access to vehicular traffic to <br />Vervais Avenue was also a condition of the Design Re- <br />view Board site; and <br />since the construction of Pleasanton Body Shop, a <br />greater volume of vehicular traffic has occurred on <br />the site than was anticipated thus causing traffic to <br />stack onto Stanley Blvd. as well as back onto said <br />Blvd., in order to enter and exit the Pleasanton Body <br />Shop site; and <br /> <br />Stanley Blvd. is a major street in the City of <br />Pleasanton which is becoming unduly congested due to <br />the ingress and egress problems being experienced at <br />the Pleasanton Body Shop site due to the limitation <br />of one point of access to the site; and <br />the Planning Commission and Design Review Board, at <br />their meetings of October 13, 1976, considered a re- <br />quest from the owners of the Pleasanton Body Shop for <br />a modification to the design review of the site and <br />conditional use permit; and <br /> <br /> <br />
