NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Denies the application for an amendment to Section <br /> 2-7.21, Article 9, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton, to allow as conditional <br /> uses churches and other religious institutions and <br /> <br /> private schools in the I-G (General Industrial) District. <br />Section 2. Determines that the proposed amendment would not be <br /> <br /> in keeping with good planning principles since churches <br /> and other religious institutions were not compatible <br /> with industrial type uses which the City Council wishes <br /> to see developed in the I-G District. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> <br />BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 6, 1976 <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: Councilmember - Mayor Ph~llcox <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />William H.
